Design Your Life Around What Matters Most
You will never find time for anything. If you want time, you have to make it. -Charles Broxton. In other words, we all have the same amount of time. No one gets extra for good behavior. It’s about priority. So how do you set priorities on your time when there is so much to do? Simple but not always easy. It’s not easy because in order to do this, you have to learn how to design your life around what matters most. This takes focus and respecting yourself by not allowing distractions. Sometimes it won’t be met with acceptance by people who have their own agenda for us. This also means learning to say no, putting things on a ‘someday-maybe’ list or simply letting them go: “yes, it’s a good idea but it isn’t a choice that will get me what I want. Step back from it all and look at a bigger picture.
If you want X you have to take actions that are in alignment with X and not with Y and Z as well as A, B, and C. So where do you want to be in a year? Perhaps you want a meaningful relationship, inspiring job that uses your creativity, closer relationship with your family, better health, more travel or at least the finances that would make travel possible. Or maybe you just want to be happier and confident – have more get up and go. Whatever it is you want, you can have. In fact, most of the things you don’t think you have, you already do. (More on that another time.) Here’s my point, what you are doing today is a snapshot of your life. Multiple what you are doing today by 365 and that’s what your life will look like a year from now. See the movie in your mind of your life? Are you liking the movie? If not, make a change – now. Don’t wait.
If you’ve read my book, you’ve heard part of this story. For 20+ years I was haunted by the life I was not living. The life I was not living was my purpose. Yes, your higher self knows why you came here and is always nudging, poking and sometimes pushing you to move forward with WHY you are here. It took me over 20 years to put into action the book inside me that was keeping me up at night. Thank goodness for my book mentor, Neale Donald Walsh (bestselling author of the series, Conversations With God) who challenge me to challenge myself to get it done in 5 months AND still do my health coaching work.
So my first Volume in the series, “BEing Spiritually Intelligent: Who You Are & Who You Were Meant To BE” was released in the fall of 2013. I made it work, and my life changed instantly. I let go of resistance, learned a new way to prioritize my time and I did the work. It was a feeling of relief. A letting go of resistance is always that way. And I’ve never looked back.
I’m on a mission to help as many people as I can design their life around what matters most by first stepping into resistance, and one step at a time reCreating themselves. http://www.amazon.com/dp/0988720701/

The Story of YOU
You were birthed through a tunnel and into the Light energy called Love. You were surrounded with warmth, happiness, peace and Divinely connected to Source. Then those who thought they knew what was best for you, began to teach you with Love only what they knew. They taught you how to fit into society, because they thought that was the best thing for you.
As you aged you were conditioned to feel good through an external reward system – supposedly it was the best way to be successful – they said. In the process, you forgot who were to BE coming into this life and became dependent on everyone and everything’s reaction around you to provide self-worth, value and life leadership.
You consistently denied the calling to step into your own unique greatness because ‘fitting in’ and ‘doing what everyone else did’ was the most important thing – ever – or so they told you.
NOW you are beginning to realize something is missing and although their intentions were good, who you are now isn’t who you know yourself to BE. You lost yourself somewhere along the way and now you know you have a choice at any time to BE who you really are. If we were all meant to be the same we would have been born the same – including the same fingerprints, footprints and DNA. Uniqueness is your weirdness. Accept it, celebrate it and you will remember who you are again. You will find that happiness and inner peace you once had and have longed to feel again.

Happy Physical Birthday to my Mother, Elizabeth Ann Abrams
Happy Physical Birthday to my late Mother, Elizabeth Ann Abrams. She would have been 85 today.
As many of you know, my momma birthed into spirit in the early morning on May 23rd this year. But what you may not know is that she’s been with me ever since guiding me through each day. I have not yet publicly spoken about it until now.
The evening of May 23rd I lay in her bed and spoke to her as vulnerably, transparently and intimately as I have ever spoke to anyone. I asked her to be my guardian angel and to guide me in a way that I would know with 100% confidence that each step I took for the rest of my life was congruent with the path of my life purpose. I honestly felt she was there, and without any doubt I felt she agreed. I cannot form into human words how I knew, but I did.
The next morning I received 100% confirmation. And from that day forward I have been receiving intense intuitive hits (not minor flashes) that indicate exactly my next step to help myself as well as guide others along their path through empowerment, love, compassion and appreciation.
Allow me to explain … The next morning my sisters came to mom’s home (where I was staying) and so did their children. My youngest sister’s future DIL brought a thoughtfully sympathy gift for her. It was the photo of the towel you see below with the words: “My mom is my guardian angel, my heart mender, my best friend.” Seeing these words were intense confirmation, so much so I had to sit down. However, the little purple flowers were the cherry on top of the angelic cake. When she got sick in March, I quickly stopped at a nearby grocery after my plane landed, and found a small pot of delicate, beautiful little purple flowers just like the ones in the image. They felt right. I followed my intuition and heart when I chose them for her. She loved them and spoke about them often.
Every day since then she guides me and brings to me intuitive hits often as strong as the first. She’s been with me through every tear, challenge, triumph, and blissful moment.
In February when we found the house we recently moved to and was put on a waiting list, she told me she hoped that we got it soon. Soon after her passing, we got the call that it would be available 9 months sooner than we anticipated.
Again, it’s been an amazing process to personally experience the angelic side in this physical world. My message to you is to follow your heart, develop your God-given intuition with grace, trust yourself and always love on others. BE you, and remember, your mother (regardless of who you thought she was, because I know some people did not have a relationship in this physical life with their mother like they would have hoped), is the one person who loves you the most and will love you more than you can ever possibly know. If you are fortunate to BE a mom, you know what I mean.
YOU were created by the high energy frequency of LOVE by your mother and your father. You are part of who they are. Always honor that your DNA is similar to theirs. Take great care of your physical body; they gifted it to you. Love yourself always and in all ways.
To celebrate my momma’s physical birthday, I pledge to buy a boutique of colorful flowers in her memory every year on July 30th – as I would have given them to her if she were still physically with me. After all, in spirit she is with me every day guiding me to my next step. Thank you, momma.
